Artist´s
philosophy
I
put up my models as proud and pitiless warriors and I take it as a part of
consequence that these wild women do not bear their arms just for decoration but
for usage.
Naturally this causes bloody death to everyone who gets in their way…
But this is not
all.
These untamed girls
spread out a very special kind of charisma, that is not to describe with the word "erotic"!
At no time they´re
looking weak or vulnerable but incarnating power, strength and an aura of being
untouchable.
Killing or being
killed are the only options within the life of an amazon-warrior.
They fight with
passion, and enjoy the power of victory...
Tough and
self-determined they rush into battle searching for honor, glory…
and finally: death.
No amazon wants to
become old and weak. Their wish and their fate is to die in battle
and that´s why I put
special interest onto this important moment.
Their life is filled
with fighting…
they´re killing with
pleasure just until they get killed by a foe...
This tragical moment
fulfills a warrior´s destiny and they take it full of grace and beauty.
They
keep up this amazing aura right to their own death and even beyond…
While
our photoshoots we try to dissolve from the thought that death is something
cruel.
Of course it IS for
us in 21st century´s reality, but NOT for a warrior in the land of
the amazons! They accept death as the unavoidable consequence of defeat.
Words like
“mercy” have no meaning in these wild warrior´s world.
No one would do them
a favour letting them keep their live with the shame of defeat.
This extraordinary
bravery founded the ancient legends of the amazons
more than 3000 years
ago and kept them alive till today!
At all times these
legends have inspired people all over the world:
Begrudged by women
for their wild independent life, respected and saluted by their male
opponets these
warrior-women soon got a state of supernaturality…
And this is the point
which I take up in my artistical work.
My intention is not
the glorification of violence, especially not against women!
It is either the
admiration for these weird girls with their powerful charisma,
and the creation of a
fantasy-world with all it´s breathtaking gorgeous
but also bloodthirsty
and merciless residents.
